These images are from a Jubilee memorabilia book I have adapted the photographs very simply with black and white paint.This is a series which might inspire some similar experiments perhaps resulting in a zine.

Glass painting at Music design agency Manchester

This is the final outcome of my work at the Music design agency in Manchester. A painting of my interpretation of the lyrics from Hunters map by Fionn regan. I am really happy to have been a part of the project and I hope to work on more large scale paintings in the future.

FWD Fashion interview brief

I was given a brief after doing a Skype interview with company Fwd Fashion; They wanted me to come up with some quick t-shirt designs themed on oriental fashion for brand Zara in one day. I came up with these idea pages and now I'm waiting to hear back about a position working as a T-shirt illustrator and designer.

Leviathan

Moby Dick is a story wrapped in great mystery and although it is a beautifully written tale it is filled with horror and darkness. These are some entries in response to the poster above which I have included and I think it was quite well designed.Below is a mixture of ink and acrylic on cotton and above is acrylic on a napkin I found with ship pattern.

These are my final collage pieces for animals in fashion they all vary ALOT, I would of loved to have done more on this brief as I feel these are pretty rough, but they look really nice with the edit and enjoy the text that they are put with please check out ASYOUAREMAGAZINE I love their style and they need as much blogging and retweeting as possible!

Asyouare magazine First drafts- editorial

I was given the brief to come up with three or more illustrations under the theme of 'animals in fashion' in current trends. This is my first response in watercolor, Biro and pencil, when I received the email I was over in Portugal with my parents and had limited materials.The top image is from a Bvlgari ad, the second is fictional, and the last two are Edun campaigns. The magazine has come back to me and said that although they do like the imagery they would like me to try coming back to them with collage as a fresh response. See next post for outcome.

I was very pleased to read this review of our show at P3 it is great to hear some good feedback and hear that people enjoyed it just as much as I did I have just come back from Sweden and I am looking out for a work placement after my installation at Music design agency so onwards and upwards I hope.

Graduate

I wasn't able to join the crew of illustration new bloods at D&AD because I was over the channel in Paris on holiday but my sister sent me over this photo of me by my work at the show and I got my final grade in the post, I am thrilled to have received a first and hope I can use the experience as a freelance illustrator or in a creative design agency.

Now that the Degree show is all done and I'm on the job hunt I have been doing very lazy sofa sketches like this. I am in love with the pattern of tatoo bling and sunglasses completly covering the body and might develop this in my sketchpad...taken from image by Terry Richardson

Opening night gallery P3

The opening night was pretty nerve racking P3 is such a huge space and when its full with visitors its pretty intimidating but the more people the better and the show took off with great feedback as this year seemed to have a real variety of illustrations.The theme of dog fighting may be something I develop with other animals such as hen fighting, bull fighting etc.

Dog Fighting practice runs

I have been in the studio experimenting with ink, charcoal and boot polish.Dog fighting is a sport which involves animal abuse and torment to turn trusting canines into gladiators full of aggression.I want my final piece to the violence and force at the center of a dog fight these are some photographs of what I've been up to one week to go.
